Qualifications & Training:
Tatum Dreyer is a certified Pilates instructor with qualifications in Anatomy, Mat, and Comprehensive Equipment through Conscious Movement at The Source (Renee Watson) in Cape Town. She specializes in pre- and post-natal Pilates, combining deep anatomical knowledge with a passion for empowering clients at every stage of life.
Teaching Style:
Tatum’s philosophy is simple: every class should leave you feeling better than when you arrived. Her sessions focus on strong basics, correct body alignment, strength, and cultivating a true mind-body connection. Clients can expect a unique repertoire, amazing stretches, and challenging exercises designed to energise and inspire.


Background:
With an extensive background in dance—including contemporary, jazz, tap, show dance, hip-hop, Latin, and ballet—as well as various sports, Tatum brings a dynamic and holistic approach to movement. Her journey into Pilates began when a close friend and fellow dancer recognised her passion for movement and compassion for people, encouraging her to become an instructor. This pivotal moment ignited a commitment to helping others through Pilates.

- Competed at the World Championship level for Show Dance
- Played South African Hockey at a high level
- Experience working with diverse clients, from athletes to new mothers
- Additional expertise in movement analysis and functional training
Beyond Pilates:
Outside the studio, Tatum is a proud mom to both her dog and her little human. She’s also known for her delicious carrot cake—a treat reserved for special occasions.

Lauren Bekker
Senior Pilates Instructor
Qualifications & Training:
Lauren Bekker is a highly qualified Pilates instructor with nearly two decades of experience, having certified in 2007. She holds a BSc degree in Physiology and Psychology, providing her with a profound understanding of the biological and mental components of movement. To further her expertise in physical restoration, Lauren earned a Sports Massage qualification from the University of Pretoria and is a certified Lyno Method Therapist.
Teaching Style:
Lauren’s approach is rooted in the science of the human body. Her sessions are meticulously designed to bridge the gap between high-performance movement and restorative therapy. By integrating the Lyno Method and Sports Massage principles into her Pilates repertoire, Lauren focuses on realigning the body and correcting imbalances. Clients can expect a session that is technically precise, physically challenging, and deeply focused on structural integrity.


Background:
Lauren’s journey has always been driven by a passion for health and wellness. With a career spanning over 18 years, she has evolved from a traditional Pilates instructor into a holistic movement specialist. Her academic background in physiology allows her to see beyond the surface, understanding the “why” behind every movement. She believes that a balanced body is the foundation for a balanced life, and she has dedicated her career to helping clients achieve both.

- Lyno Method Therapy: Expert in identifying and releasing fascia patterns to restore neutral alignment.
- Sports Massage Specialist: Advanced knowledge of soft tissue therapy and injury prevention.
- Physiological Insight: Utilizing her BSc degree to tailor programs based on biomechanical and physiological needs.
- Barrier Breaking: Specialized experience in helping clients overcome physical plateaus and chronic movement restrictions.
